The
complex spans over an area of 37400 sq.m.
The Centre is located in the Al Nakeel area
very close to the active business district.
The Complex was formally inaugurated on 22nd
April 1996 by His Highness Shaikh Saqr Bin
Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme
Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah in the
presence of VIPs of the Emirates. Being a
government organisation, the centre is part
of the Chamber of Commerce. At present, it
consists of a major Exhibition Hall with covered
area of 1680 sq.m. and more than 3000 sq.m.
of uncovered area to organise different activities
during the local fairs.
There
are three big gates for entering into the
Exhibition Complex and four big gates to enter
the Exhibition Hall. There are four green
plots making the Centre more attractive -
A rare sight in any other Exhibition Centre
in the Emirates - thus giving the Centre a
beautiful and historical appearance.
There
is capacity to park over 1000 cars around
the Exhibition arena. Located at the main
entrance are easily accessible Telephone booths
from where you can contact your country at
any time. The telephones are operated by easily
available pay-cards. The cost of one card
is US$8.25 or $12.50 or $16.50. There is a
small mosque besides the exhibition hall.
Sales / Secretarial service is available at
request. Fax & Email is available in the
Administration office and qualified staff
can assist you for any of your requirements
in Ras Al Khaimah.
The
Centre is equipped with all necessary facilities.
